I have known about Jimmy's forever since I grew up in East Dallas but had never tried their sandwiches , I wasn't disappointed I tried their small muffaletta which is enough for two people loaded with meat , cheese and olive salad a little messy but so delicious. I can't wait to try their other sandwiches and their inhouse made Italian sausage.

I really wanted to like this place but it ended up being a big letdown. The positives: the shop itself has a good selection of italian ingredients that you wouldn't be able to find at a normal grocery store. There were also a variety of homemade goods for sale like pizza dough, marinara sauce, and cookies. The atmosphere inside also gives off the feeling of a legit, NY style deli. They also make sandwiches to order and have a decent selection to choose from. The negatives: the made to order sandwiches simply aren't very good. Like I said, I really wanted to like this place . . . but the sandwiches just weren't very good. I ordered the prosciutto panino, Italian beef, and meatball sub. The Italian beef and meatball sub were smothered with so much cheese that it completely overpowered any semblance of freshness. They tasted very heavy and unhealthy and not in a good way. The meat and bread also didn't taste very good on it's own. The panino was also not very good. The prosciutto tasted really low quality and had a lot of fat that made it hard to chew. Sad to say, I will likely not be coming back to give them a second chance. If I do return, it will only be for the groceries.

We have heard about Jimmy’s for years and finally made it in to try. The store itself is great with huge variety of specialties at honestly good prices. But we are here for a sandwich! You make your way to the counter where the gentleman takes your order and gives you a number. We went with the Prosciutto and Hit Italian. The Prosciutto sandwich was super tasty with fresh ingredients and top tier bread. The Hot Italian Sausage was over to top and delicious. Great sausage and amazing bread with just the right amount of spice overall. The sauce they use could be a meal by itself. Super great sandwich! The whole experience was fun and we would definitely come back. Highly Reccommended!

Love this place! It is super busy on the weekends but for a good reason. They have a great selection a merchandise and wine. Not cheap, but good stuff. Their Muffuletta and Italian Sub is out of this world. They have a good deli, frozen food, and meat market as well. They have wine by glass for you to enjoy as you are shopping and a wonderful espresso for a buck!

Jimmy’s is a unique store, with great products, and I fell in love with their sandwiches. Lately the prosciutto panino (my favorite!) has been a disappointment. The prosciutto is cut so thick I can barely bite through it. The quality of the ingredients is great, but it’s not appetizing. I hope they get back to a higher standard on the sandwiches. (And yes I realize I’m being picky - prosciutto is supposed to be almost shaved, not cut like ham)
